Job Description

1. ‣Developing and preparing design documents during programming, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
   

2. ‣Correcting and updating documents.
   

3. ‣Bidding, Constuction Administration and Project Close-Out.
   

4. ‣Developing solutions to technical problems.
   

5. ‣Keeping every design phase of a project on schedule and under budget.
   

6. ‣Client contact.
   

Qualifications

1. ‣Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
   

2. ‣Current Texas architectural registration.
   

3. ‣LEED AP certification required.
   

4. ‣10+ years Architectural experience with small, medium and large commercial projects.
   

5. ‣Experience in design and production drawings required.
   

6. ‣Knowledge of building systems, materials and finishes.
   

7. ‣Must have creative design and drawing skills - design presentaion skills (sketch paper & CAD) and conceptual design capabilities.
   

Skills

1. ‣Intermediate to advanced computer skills in AutoCAD, and MS Office Word & Excel.
   

2. ‣Excellent oral and written communication skills.
   

3. ‣Ability to effectively work in a team atmosphere.
   

4. ‣Ability to effectively meet deadlines and budgets.
